  • <p>The Aachen design used for a necklace</p>
  • <p>Illustration of a city's name<br>Aachen, Charlesmagne’s hometown, derives from the Old Franconian word “ahha” meaning “water”. Its hot healing springs were the city’s most important capital for its development. So I designed a network of entwining flows reflecting the way the underground springs mingle and merge.<br>Used in different ways: key chain, jewelry and printed<br><br></p>

  • <p>Transformation of a logo<br>This logo of a medical center in Duisburg, Germany, was rebuild out of text as a gift for the opening from the donator, the company Haniel. The cross is filled with a text saying “Best wishes for the future... ”, the letters are filled with the story about planning and building the center, and in the circle is listed each and every person who works in the building (diameter of the circle 80 cm).</p>
  • <p>The first room divider made completely out of text only!<br>It is a line from a love poem by Heinrich Heine “Ein Meer von blauen Gedanken” (A sea full of blue thoughts)<br><br></p>
  • <p>The sun has never seen a shadow. (Da Vinci)<br>The design is lasercut out of steel and gilded.</p>
  • <p>Window sign for a new town cloister of the Catholic order of the Redemptorists in Gent, Belgium</p>
  • <p>Design for the entrance door of the embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Berlin, based on ornaments common in arabic calligraphy (no letters involved).<br><br></p>
