  • This client wanted the text around the ring to be legible. “Lebe das, was in dir ist.” (Live your inner self.)
  • When you add an i between the L and the e in “Leben” (life) it turns into “Lieben” (love) so the quote can be read as “part of my life/love”. And they wanted the letters ENS in “L(i)eben” to be legible as “C & S”, too.
  • A very elaborate commission for a signet ring. Besides of the symbols many terms about chivalry had to find a place on the outside and the inside of the ring.
